Recently, ZJWEU signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the University of Zaragoza in Spain. The signing of the agreement means that the two sides will carry out exchanges in many aspects, such as personnel training, teaching management, discipline construction, mutual visits between teachers and students, academic research and so on, so as to promote the in-depth cooperation between the two universities in the field of higher education and research.
ZJWEU has maintained a good cooperative relationship with the University of Zaragoza. In 2019, for the first time, the university sent two teachers to the University of Zaragoza for a three-month visit. The signing of this agreement will further deepen the cooperation between the two sides. ZJWEU and University of Zaragoza will establish a joint sharing mechanism, introduce high-quality resources from the other side, and promote the comprehensive strength of the university, the effectiveness of talent training and the level of discipline development. Recently, the two sides have also actively tried to explore the application of Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools.
It is reported that the University of Zaragoza was founded in the 16th century, with five campuses, is one of the most famous institutions of higher learning in Spain. The university offers the most comprehensive range of programs in Spain, including official degrees, postgraduate programs and continuing training programs. At present, the university has over 35,000 students, covering engineering, environment, architecture, agriculture and forestry, finance and economics, biology and other disciplines. This in-depth cooperation will become a booster for the development of both sides. Both parties will seek new points of convergence in the in-depth understanding and close communication, and jointly promote the cause of the two schools to a new level.
