From September 11 to 12, more than 4,000 freshmen of 2021 from all over Chinastarted registering in batches, which symbolized that these freshmen would have a new beginning in ZJWEU.
Many leaders of ZJWEU came to the sites for welcoming new students for example check-in places of colleges, student dormitories, canteens and so on to know better about new students and show their warmest welcome to them. Besides, they also highly appreciated efforts made by the staff and volunteers who committed themselves to this work.
In order to implement the epidemic prevention and control measures and ensure the safety of students, ZJWEU meticulously arranged all the work related to welcome new students and prepared some emergency plans in advance to make sure all things go well.All collegesand related departments of ZJWEUall prepared well to welcome new students.
At the subway entrances, check-in places of eachcollege and dormitories, a large number of staff and student volunteers cooperated with each other tohelp new students and meet the needs of students and their parents. These staff and student volunteers committed themselves to help those students in need and showed the best virtues of people in ZJWEU .
This year, the admission of the first foreign student also marks a new step in the internationalization of ZJWEU. The international student, REYNER BOWEN DCRUZ (Chinese name: 沈柏文), is from Malaysia and will be studying in the major of International Business. REYNER BOWEN DCRUZ has been very concerned about the fast logistics in China since he was abroad, and he has paid special attention to learning Chinese since he was young. The hopes for him in China is to learn the advanced concepts and methods of logistics and e-commerce.
